4 Roads shortlisted at the BIMA Awards 2026 for Acticare

4 Roads has been shortlisted in the Business (B2B) category of the BIMA Awards 2026, for the B2B ecommerce platform it built for Acticare. The winners are revealed at the awards ceremony at The Steel Yard, London, on 19 November 2026, where the entries in each category take home Bronze, Silver or Gold.

What did 4 Roads build for Acticare?

Acticare supplies care homes, and needed an ecommerce platform that works the way its clients buy: across departments, sites and head office teams, with clear controls over budgets, preferred products, approvals and delivery routines.

4 Roads replaced its ecommerce platform with a B2B system linked to OGL and MaxOptra. Care home groups manage spend by department while head office keeps oversight, guide buyers to preferred products, approve orders before they go through and schedule deliveries around each home's routines. Budgets, approvals, products, deliveries and order history are in one self-service account, which cuts the manual back-and-forth of everyday buying.

“This project forms a key part of Acticare's long-term digital strategy. It connects procurement, operational systems, and customer service into one platform. This has created a scalable foundation that will support future innovation and help us continue to raise standards across the care sector.”

Carlton Jenner, Acticare

Has 4 Roads been recognised by BIMA before?

Yes: 4 Roads won a BIMA award in 2019 for the virtual rack configurator it built for Hitachi Vantara. BIMA is the British Interactive Media Association.
