Quick question, do you currently support using more than one gateway for a shop? i.e. a user can choose to use PayPal or Authorize.Net?
yes we do
Is this implemented on the CartSummary page by adding an additional payment button for another gateway or is there something out of the box that will allow this?
To answer this and you quantity problem I need you to go and see which version of Commerce you have installed. Could you please go to the following url and post which version you have.

I have version 2.0 and am waiting on one of your people to give me some credentials (we have a valid license) to allow me to download an update (i'm pretty sure this isn't the most recent version)

You mentioned in the update that we needed to update community server to SP3. We are unable to upgrade Community Server due to the fact that the previous developer had changed some of the CS source code and until we figure all of the places that this happened, we can't upgrade or update community server. It looks like we are stuck with dealing with the release that we currently have installed.
Is this something that one of our developers can help you untangle? Send me an PM and I will send you our rates, we can take a look at the project and give you some idea of timescale.
