It's been a while since we have seen any activity on our blogs, I have to confess that as with all of our staff there has been little time to put our heads above the parapet. A lot has changed in the last few months and I wanted to bring to the attention of everyone the changes that have happened and are happening.
Products; with the excellent new release of Telligent Community we are working to upgrade our products to be compatible. This process will take some time, however we will have new versions of all of our products out as soon as possible. The first product to be released will be Scribus CMS. Scribus CMS is a replacement for CS Publisher that is written specifically to take advantage of the Telligent Community theme engine. Scribus CMS will help you make your Social Network the hub of your infrastructure allowing you to mix versioned, managed content with dynamic user content. One of the other new features of Scribus CMS is the ability to override the standard URL mapping of the site, this allows your content managers to create site layouts that are SEO friendly and override any standard TC page with a custom CMS page. The next product to be release will be Nexus very shortly after Scribus CMS. The new version of Nexus is a complete re-write of the architecture to make it fully extensible into any Social Network persona provider. The initial offering of Nexus will include both Facebook and Twitter support out of the box. The two remaining products, yes two! Will be released after Scribus CMS and Nexus. Our very popular Commerce product is in development and will be ready soon, additionally we are going to release our event application, Chronos for the first time. We have been using Chronos on the CS 2008.5 platforms on client projects for some time and feel it is time that it was an application that you can purchase.
These are exciting times in 4Roads our new product line up to compliment Telligent Community are fantastic. Our existing and new clients are really pushing social media into some interesting locations (Our showcase will tell you more soon) and our team is working really well to produce cost effective solutions for your needs.
